It's been kind of sidelined for that use, unfortunately. Many years ago at a Massage Convention- around 2003 or so- we saw a live presentation on this and did try it. We used a mud "option" with the slick-gel. It was very nice and relaxing. I've been a Massage Therapist for 31+ years, so I've seen the gamut of Tx's, too.

@Isthisit The use of a slick gel- typically either methyl cellulose, or a glycerin and seaweed extract blend- as a lubricant in a (typically) full-body-contact, body-sliding type of massage. It is not an oil, but may be perceived as such when first tried by the recipient. Typically, it is performed on an inflatable air pool float or air mattress, covered with a plastic sheet to minimize the oozy mess.
