Then change it. You have the power. How is this change coming along? Or are you still in the lamenting stage? You needn't miss something that could easily be yours. Far easier than enduring like you do, my friend. Hard words that are truth for hard times.

@Gameknot Then stay. And live that way until you or she dies. You have how many years left? Give or take some for health conditions like depression or heart attack or stroke or suicidal feelings all or many which may relate to living without human touch and intimacy. Good luck. You will need it. And hopefully your belov-ed family doesn't end up resenting you for your martyrdom.
