@Sharon Absolutely effective on all comers. As a teacher most of the disruptive behavior was by males. Paddling state report that most school paddlings go to males. Prison population reflects the same.

@Strictgram Not from what I've seen, girls are easily as disruptive as boys.

That's because a blind eye is often turned to misbehaviour or criminal activity by females. Why do you think terrorists/insurgents/freedom fighters use women to transport arms and munitions?

Looking at US schools paddling stats. The one paddling offence where girls were just as likely as boys to be reported for was parking lot violations. It was also the only offence where the sex of the offender was unknown to the reporting agent.

@Sharon I didn't read about disruptive students I lived it. What is your experience in observing student behavior? How many years in the classroom?

@Strictgram About 12 years and I was one of the disruptive girls.

@naughtyone123 Yes, I do. I had a lot of experience of both the cane and the slipper (plimsoll).

@Sharon Did your behavior improve? Did you get it from the school or your parents?

@naughtyone123 I was more careful to avoid being caught again, but I wasn't always successful. I got it from my teachers, parents and friends' parents.

@Sharon Same here. I was a lot more careful about getting caught. Still got it though. LOL
