johnsonjelena45 is right, the quiet ones are often the most painful. Mostly because all the noise comes from smacking an area of the bottom so quiet implements usually strike a smaller surface area but that means all the pain concentrates to one spot instead of spreading over your bottom.
Canes - afaik incredibly painful, good for a handful of swats but will leave marks and stings like hellfire.
Switch - much less painful than a cane, but tends to leave welts that will itch if you dont apply some kind of care product.
Could try taking a longer wooden spoon and using the handle portion, its stiff so it wont be as harsh as a cane and it dosent "smack" so it wont make much noise.

3/8 vinyl tubing a cut short piece were it can be used over his lap pinned down as a longer punishment. Is my first quiet impliment. Got spanked last night with it gor not listening when he asked me to stop doing annoying things. Let me tell you that hurt a lot. I actuality cried after the punishment and i have a higher pain tolerance. The only other spanking impliments i have cried with are the belt. Thats my least favorite punishment. Thick wooden spoon usually has be crying. His hand and then yard stick after wards for a longer punishment for being disrespectful had me crying.

Icy hot or muscle creams, wire hangers, sticks, switches, curtain rods those ones you use for the blinds rather than curtains. Have you ever tried to sneak to get a switch or three and then sneak them back into the house so visiting family doesn't see? Yeah that's just as bad as the switch sometimes. How bad I get it depends on what I did. It's always a set number of spanks but what he uses differs and how hard he wacks does too. Unless it's a switch then he sets the number of switches and he'll go at it until they can't be used anymore.

Quiet implements are the worst!!! We have a delrin loopy, but he doesn't use it much because he says I'm not quiet!!!🤣I can't help it! It hurts bad and it leave welts that last for 2 weeks!!!
