I hate counting, it’s like role playing. I spank 90% of the time bare hand/bare bottom over the knees, and I stop when I think she had her lesson. That’s it.

@Messire hate it also. Though not because it's like role play but because it is a distraction.

The aim of spanking in regards to this type of lifestyle is a imo the pain from the spanking causes pain and emotional release for both parties. The spanking itself is the means to the end to cause emotional and physical deterrent.

Though when counting comes into play it activates higher electrical activity in the right superior parietal lobe by diverts it from the limbic system and dorsal posterior insula. Counting is counter productive and just drags it out longer then it needs to be for both involved.
