The typical scenario was a group of males , between 12 and 50 in number ,generally fewer than 20, would be the audience.
The groom to - be , was sat down , a ditty read from a card . The groom not always a young man , a couple of them were getting wed for a second time.
She would slowly strip , finally deliver a kiss on the cheek . He became the centre of attention of course. The performer always controlled the situation.

She was , on occasions , propositioned smiled and brushed them off .
The agreement was that she would only accept bookings at least 30 miles from home .This , we hoped , would greatly reduce the risk of some some she knew catching her stripping .
