Is candaulism a thing amongst a subset of the SW crowd ?

Noun. candaulism (uncountable) (rare) A sexual practice or fantasy in which a man exposes his female partner, or images of her, to other people for their voyeuristic pleasure.

Never done it myself, nor found anyone else who does it, but like a lot of unusual sexual things there are people out there apparently who do it.

I realise this is an old thread now so thanks for the replies. these are things I've never done, or considered doing, so I have no experience with any of this. When i did have a partner I never showed naughty or revealing pics of my partner to others, and in fact never really even took such pics.

The idea of cuckolding, etc. is totally 1000 pct foreign to me.

I would think that it's a modern version of "swinging" from back in the 70s, where couples would swap partners for the night. If not a modern version, maybe an extension of this subculture.

@calicuz Righto I've never done that nor been in any situation where they could have become possible. Being single as a man pretty much means none of that is ever possible. Probably different for single women.

@calicuz nothing to do with swinging it stretches back in time to a king called king candaulis he used to let the guards spy on his queen while undressing bathing or sleeping as he derived pleasure from knowing they were enjoying watching his queen naked hence it is how it all began
a few thousand years ago so no its not wife swapping its actually older than, swinging, swopping, cuckolds.

@zonavar68 cuckold is totally different to canaulism. cuckolds tend to want to be subjected as a slave to their partner and her boyfriend,
candaulism is we enjoy showing our partners either in photo or live, and we control the situation at all times, not our partners or an extra boyfriend they may gain at the time we enjoy organising the situation of showing her off to others
