@SwampFlower also, on an unrelated note, a common pattern I've seemed to notice is how much Americans and Canadians are specific about animal names. Maybe it's because our ecological environment isn't as vast but I've never heard anyone here be like "omg look at that super sonic four footed webbed platypus" it's usually "woaw a rat with a long face" you guys seem to know specific names lmao
