I just picked up my new eyeglasses from the mall.

Wow. Now all the mall butts are in sharp focus! 🤪

I also got prescription sunglasses. 😎 When it warms up I will have go to the shore to focus on some beach butts.

No, just aging, Yet I have been nearsighted since I was a kid.

Lately, though, I learned I have diabetes, and the doc is concerned now about diabetic retinopathy.

Gettin old.

Someday I will need reading(?) glasses, too. Or at least for 1 ft distance.

To read, I remove my glasses and hold things 6 inches away, and my eyes work fine. But 1 ft away or more, my eyes fail. Yet my glasses are out of focus at about about 1 ft or closer, but in focus further. So annoying. But it has been like that for 10 years.

I went to a mall store, but it is a chain with stand-alone locations, too.

Yes, it is expensive. But I am satisfied. And my insurance covered a bit of it.
