@BeefySenpie Yes. In the case of the Moon revolving around Earth the centripetal force is gravity. If you let something rotate around yourself and that thing is attached to a rubber band you hold in your hand, the centripetal force is the restoring force of the rubber band. (The centri[u]fugal [/u]force is, of course, the inertia of the rotation thing.)
