I'm a parent but other than that, I'm as immature & uncertain of life as I was as a 19 year old. Which is how I generally view the world, minus anything that has to do with my little (19 y.o.) girl.

I'm honestly surprised I've lived this long.

I kinda gave the opposite problem. Dad waa an army sergeant and mom was a second lieutenant. Grandmother lived with us. Lived in isolation on a farn out in the woods back in the sixties so i never really had a childhood. Now I'm 62 with a cell phone and able to explore and see what i missed out on.

You're too young to have seen any of the Thin Man movies but the least adult adults ever portrayed - in a sophisticated way - were Nick and Nora Charles.

I'm almost 68 years old...and I still haven't quite figured out how to be an adult.
