Have you ever been attracted to a cousin?

I was debating sharing this but fuck it it’s SW 🤷🏻‍♀️ I used to experiment with one of my cousins growing up while we were in middle school. It started out as dry humping then later on we would take turns eating each other out. We even got caught once by her sister who snitched of course. My mom was pissed lol I want to say it was mostly innocent, I mean I knew what we were doing but I didn’t ‘understand’ it if that makes sense. For me it was just fun and felt good and there’s just something enticing about doing something you know you probably shouldn’t be doing especially at that age. But once we started high school she wanted to keep it going but by then I was like nah it was just starting to feel weird. We were still cool and everything after that we just aren’t as close anymore. Too busy being boring adults lol but I do still think about what we used to do together, wouldn’t be surprised if she still thinks about it too.

No. I have never felt attracted to any family, no matter how distantly related the cousin, or anybody married into the family either.
Most of my extended family are a good looking bunch. Fit people. But it never crossed my mind.
Family is family. For Familial relationships. And cultivating safe healthy familial relationships. To have a home and a people to belong to.

Family aren't sexual partners.
If you want a sexual partner you go out and find one. You have the choice to not be a redneck

After reading some of the comments, I'm glad I never felt attracted to anyone in my family. I've never understood the phenomenon. In fact I think it's a very disturbing taboo.

That being said, I understand that in some countries consensual family sexual relationships are legal. So it must be common somewhere. I just don't get it, and would never want it.

I like family being only familial relationships personally. I don't understand wanting anything different or feeling anything different.

I once had my uncle in law's younger brother hit on me and ask me.out on a date. He didn't understand why I was saying no, because we weren't blood related. There was literally no attraction for me there. It grossed me out. Luckily he moved on after throwing a temper tantrum.

@Scribbles all I was saying to whoever that was in the first place, I feel like everyone has had an experience being attracted to someone like a cousin or something, and found out afterwards. It’s only as weird as you want it to be
Scribbles · 36-40, F
@SW-User clearly not "everyone" does, as evidenced by people here. Perhaps you should amend it to "some" people have had that kind of experience?

A person's feelings on any topic are not always going to be shared by everyone. People are all different.

@Scribbles my statement should be easily interpreted as my opinion, but perhaps it makes it clearer. It seems a trivial or moot point after that long ass conversation about what “I don’t believe you” must mean.
Scribbles · 36-40, F
@SW-User people are allowed to disagree with each other's opinions. Hopefully people can move on from it. People don't always get on.

Refusing to acknowledge another person's opinions and feelings because your opinion is that everyone has a shared experience even when they clearly say "no" just seems a bit much. That was what concerned me most.

@Scribbles I wouldn’t say that, it’s just possible that she was attracted to him or her before the fact, and then it changed their perspective. Which is the exact situation I immediately shared. I will agree that it was insensitive, but it’s still really personal, and completely irrelevant I felt. With all due respect to you and pretty much everyone else, it’s certainly both possible and plausible, and was in fact my personal experience. Meaning, that I thought she was hot, and then didn’t afterwards. I imagine it happens a lot, and doesn’t even have to be family. You might want to hatefuck someone for saying your rape story was a great story, some people thing sex offenders should be forced to marry their victims, or even forcibly and involuntarily castrated. My point being that I personally, and perhaps the person I was trying to discuss this with, was in fact attracted to person beforehand. Which doesn’t make either of us liars, it means we interpreted the question differently. I believe rape to mean forcible, teaching (perhaps not the best word either, but if you’re a virgin…) a <16 year old or whatever in my personal opinion (obviously) is not rape.

You mean that was you asking if it was an adult consensual sex and if she regretted it and if her feelings changed afterwards? But completely fumbled it up and then doubled down on it instead of attempting to show understanding or admit you made a misunderstanding?

Sure,
I suppose that could happen in a relationship after sex particularly if it's really bad sex.

None of my rape stories are great btw. No one's stories are. What a strange and very disrespectful thing to say. And I don't mean to "hatefuck" anyone, (I hope you never actually experience such a thing and see that phrase differently) I'm just pointing out that it's pretty stupid to say "I don't believe you" about anyone's feelings and assume that someone has any shared experience as anyone else. Because like here, it didn't work out to well and caused a big misunderstanding that was all on you, quite frankly.

I'm just trying to say I hope you learn from this and don't act like a dick about someone's feelings maybe?

I agree that rape is forcible and not consensual. I hope no one is ever raped or hate fucked. And I hope they don't have to deal with getting asked if they had feelings of attraction or not when you met them. You are right it's insensitive to do that. And it's not relevant at all.

Thanks for explaining that it was a misunderstanding and you weren't trying to upset her in any way.

@Scribbles Did he just say that I was attracted to my cousin. I logged out and read the comments. I was 9 years old. He’s such a piece of shit.

I wasn’t attracted to anyone when I was 9 years old.

You are way off base here, bubba. She said she was nine years old. A little girl. She wasn't sexually attracted to her rapist no matter how great a story that would make for you. You sound exactly like a pedophile trying to justify their sexual contact with little girls by believing they were sexually attracted to you. And to use your own words, it is possible that you are.

And there it is--the inevitable block from SUiBLISS when he is correctly identified as a pedophile, but only after he makes one last racist hate post to get the "last" word in. These perverts are as predictable as the sunrise, and just as numerous.

@iamonfire696 He claimed he misunderstood and thought it was a consensual sex thing originally. Even though you clearly said you don't find family attractive. He tried to gaslight you and it backfired and he was caught at it, and then tried to justify it as an opinion that everyone could have seen lightly and not reacted to it (we all had valid reactions in my opinion)

Or he is fishing for a conversation to have in which he was hoping someone would say that feeling for a family member had sex with them and then didn't have feelings...for whatever reason that could be. (He never explained WHY he asked you what he did or why he didn't want to believe you)

When he found it was rape, he doubled down on being a dick. He did admit that his question was insensitive and not relevant to cases of rape.

Though he made the distinction of rape being something forced and that he doesn't consider "teaching someone under the age of consent sex" to be rape. Perhaps he thinks it's ok to have sex with minors, or he means to define it as a pedophile crime instead of rape? Idk. Either way I wasn't going to ask because I found it creepy.

@Scribbles He is a sick POS. I clearly said I was 9, how could you ever think that a 9 year old would be attracted to someone.

All he’s done on this thread is show how disturbed and disgusting he really is.

He’s looking to talk to women about this. He deserves to be reported. He’s absolute filth.

@Scribbles so you didn’t start liking boys or girls until after you hit puberty then? You’re one of a kind.
Scribbles · 36-40, F
@iamonfire696 He reminds me of my older brother whenever he'd try this feelings shit on me. 😡 I'm pissed.
"I didn't hurt you look, I tickled you under your armpit and you aren't crying and screaming anymore, -it was because I couldn't fucking breathe!"

I mean it could even be my brother for all I know and just lying about his age and trying to pretend pedophilia and incest is ok because a sister is apparently a useful sex object.

I'm going to go throw up now.

@Scribbles Once again, nothing in my comment is advocating rape. I didn’t ask you either. Also, wasn’t this about cousins?
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@Scribbles I am so sorry. Report and block him, he doesn’t deserve anything more from you.

@iamonfire696 Done. I'm going to leave and log off for a bit...and cry into my partner's shoulder and I need to go on a long run or something.

Love you 🤗
