@DukeOfEarle yes was my favorite band during my university years, it is kind of an intellectual music but has a rare spiritual aspect to it that makes it pretty unique in the world of rock. steve howe said J.S.Bach was one of his biggest inspirations and is known to be a intellectual style, and also my favorite composer. old genesis is also in my top 5. and yes, you described me well 😎🕺😂😂

“Awaken” still remains my favorite Yes song. I enjoy Genesis’s “middle” years (post Gabriel) the most into the early 80’s. “Deep In The Motherlode” still gives me chills and a yearning for all that is long lost. Gabriel I believe became a stronger act as a solo artist. Who is your #1 artist? @reflectingmonkey

@DukeOfEarle yes, i agree awaken is at least one of their top 5, maybe the best... i feel differently about genesis, Gabriel years are by far my favorite, musical box, and supper's ready are my two favorite Genesis songs.
