Thinking about the different outcomes Percy could've ended up with in The Olympians
In the first book, he could've died. If Annabeth hadn't said anything about Medusa, he most definitely would have died. Most definitely could've died when he fought Ares.
In the second book, if Annabeth was so strongly compelled with charmspeak to forget about Percy on Circe's Island, Percy would've been stuck as a guinea pig. Also, he could've died.
In the third book, he could've died by getting squished by the sky and died in general. Just imagine if he went inside of that automaton (one of Hephaestus' giant machines) to disable it instead of Bianca.
In the fourth book, he most definitely could've died by Kelli (Empousi. I think i spelled it wrong) if Rachael didn't intervene. He should've died when his impulsive ass was face-to-face with Kronos. Could've died in general.
In the fifth book, he could've died in the Styx. He could've died during the battle.
In the fourth book, he could've stayed with Calypso, been her boyfriend and had a safe life on her island.
In the fifth book, he could've taken Zeus's gift of becoming immortal.
