Would you write your memoirs?

Abstraction · 61-69, M
I did. And in the foreword I used this quote:
“When I write my book, and tell the tale of my adventures--all these little stars that shake out of my cloak-- I must save those to use for asterisks!” (Edmund Rostand)
@Abstraction I'd like to read your memoir.
Did you get them published?
Or is there a way I could read a copy?
Abstraction · 61-69, M
@hartfire That's very lovely. Yes it was published by Transit Lounge. I'll pm you the details.

No My story isn't interesting enough to write about
OldBrit · 61-69, M
@SW-User mine neither I just did it for my own fun and so if my memory does fail in the future I've something to go back to
exexec · 61-69, C
I wrote a G-rated version, safe for my grandchildren to read. Not very exciting reading.
SusanInFlorida · 31-35, F
your first novel is always autobigraphical.

unless its not . .
@SusanInFlorida I've written nine novels, none biographical.
Readers should be cautious about assuming that an author's first (or any other) novel is about their own experience; it is always transformed, never the verbatim reality.

Maybe at the end of my life
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
