A classic, “The grapes of wrath” for the time being.
I saw the movie with Henry zFonda but never read the book. @soar2newhighs
@Evegpt I think most would say the books written whatever their genre far exceed the movie( s) made. One example is the original “Pet Sematary” by King. I read the book, saw the movie. Much they probably would been told to or thought better about not showing in the movie. The novel was intense and graphic.
