On Monday night, while still in Berlin, Ms. Ocasio-Cortez spoke to The New York Times by phone and tried to underscore her message. “This reporter came up to me and was like, ‘Is Munich the new New Hampshire?’ And I cannot say enough how out of touch and missing the point, genuinely, that is,” Ms. Ocasio-Cortez said in the interview, referring to the state’s tradition of hosting early presidential primary contests. “Global democracies are on fire the world over, and established parties are falling to right-wing populist movements.”
AOC is the best the Dems have to offer. She failed miserably in Munich, that is why she called the NYT to try to save face. Democrats will have her back on the presidential pedestal in a few days.

She should ask herself WHY! The only ones on fire is the left. Countries are turning to the right because of unfettered illegal immigration to western nations around the world.

I've also been for Nato, for a country's right to self-determination, for a parliamentary democracy as the best system around, for social network systems based on Christian charity that aids the weak, etc., etc., and thus, yes, I'm against Trump and all that he stands for. I'm in favour of inclusion and I hate the absolutism that comes out of the White House today. Just look the guy's ball room. Is that America these days?
With AOC and Gavin Newsom and even Hilary Clinton going to Munich, they are making President Trump look good by comparison. At least some anti-Trump European politicians are getting a revelation on what Trump has to deal with.
