Paper ballots guarantee nothing. Boxes full of paper ballots from the last US Presidential Election got lost and couldn't be found because they'd been left in the back of a truck. Ballots can get accidentally or intentionally destroyed in various ways if they're paper, so if we can file our annual income tax electronically on a secure website, then why can't we use the same website to vote in an Election?

So no, I'm not in favor of voting with paper ballots. Besides, it's a very inefficient use of time, money and resources to be standing in line like it was 1950, just for the privilege of voting in a Democracy, including the Democratic Republic of the USA.
