Listen, I legiterally do not GAF whether No Kings is "more like a parade" because there were "no demands made", and it was "not leftist enough".

What would you have us do, sit at home and hope?

Our hands are tied. I voted. I proselytized on here/other socials/tiktok. I engaged people individually, both publicly and privately. I prayed. I cried. If leftists don't organize for themselves in a MASSIVE WAY, others aren't going to do it for ya.

Do y'all not realize we are in a military zone where every single action is surveilled?

So mock me if you must, but there is definitely something to be said for being around like-minded, kind-hearted people, and luxuriating in free speech while we still have it.

Our demands were inherent to the entire cause: stop fascism. Other than violent means and joining a local chapter, what would you have us do? Strongly worded letters and voicemails do not work.

We will have strange bedfellows when it is all hands on deck for democracy. Even Tucker Carlson and MTG are seeing the writing on the wall. So stfu so other people can at least make the attempt.

I'm far-left, and I agree.
Protesting is still valid, draws attention to the issue, and shows resistance and inspires.

I'm glad people are realizing though that direct action is the only way for real change.
I'm not saying don't vote, but we can't expect politicians to change things, and you have wait to elect them too.
