When Jack Smith dropped the charges against Donold, for election interference, etc. he made sure to have it done without prejudice. For the moment the case does not exist, which means Trump can’t do anything with it.
The charges however can be refiled after his term in the White House is over.
You may idolize Trump, but there still people who want to see justice served, even if they have to wait for it.
