Where did 20 million democrat votes go?

Was our election massively hacked just like what happened a few weeks ago in the Republic of Georgia?

Think Elon Musk, StarLink, Peter Thiel, [Steve] Bannon, [Michael] Flynn and [Vladimir] Putin. 20 million

Democratic votes don’t disappear on their own.
Well, the Democrats spent the last decade crushing the progressive wing of the party and made it clear that they would be cool with losing to a fascist before they would let anyone left of Nancy Pelosi take the party nomination.

A bunch of former bernie bros probably voted for Elon Musk more than for Trump. Think Joe Rogan if you need a stereotype of the kind of person I am talking about.

The Democrats gave Muslim voters a middle finger.

Right wing pundits were telling their followers to take it out on their wives or girlfriends if they lost probably putting some women in a scary situation.

I also have noticed how the mainstream centrist technocrat types seem oblivious to the fact that there are some pretty socially conservative latino and black communities so you have to give them a reason beyond race to vote against what they hear at church every Sunday.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow I always have been and always will be a Gigantic fanboi of Bernie who(incidently) overwhelmingly secured a 4th term.
Oh well life proceeds gently into this good night with an AR15 and crocs with socks

They did what -- unfortunately-- Americans tend to do: when forced with two major candidates, neither of which enthuses them, they sit on their hands and don't vote. Rather than voting for a third party or fourth party candidate, which may be futile but will send a louder message to the politicians than just not voting. Brett Stephens of the NY Times had a great column on political ideologues' inability to assess their failures to hear the voters vs. looking for tactical campaign errors to blame.

Some of them went to Trump. Mostly the nearly 40% gains in Hispanic votes, white women who probably did NOT see the TV ad reminding them they can vote for the candidate of their choosing, but 52% of them voted for him. And the 25% of young blacks who voted for him.

@Northwest The numbers dont add up.
No respectable democray voter voted for trump. The difference between 2020 and 2024 speaks volumes

@TrashCat There are a lot of people who were legitimately left in the wind.

My Biden vote in 2020, and I said it here on SW, was that he's going to be a 1-term President, and he stated clearly that he's here to provide a bridge to a newer generation.

While I respect what he did, up until he decided to run again, that decision doomed us and guaranteed a Trump win.

@Northwest next time (if there is a next time) I'm going to vote for someone who wins
