I believe it was redicted that Democrats would be more likely to vote early. By default that means that Republican voters would be more likely to vote on the day. So a swing back is to be expected.. Still. Its a start, isnt it?😷

I was just reading today that Republicans typically vote on election day itself, while Democrats typically vote early. The same thing happens in Canada between the Conservatives and the Liberals. The Cons vote on election day and the Libs vote at advance polling stations. For some reason, voting on election day after lining up for hours to do so, is a Conservative/Republican thing and always has been.
