How do you support your claim that the democrats "want" manufacturing to go overseas? There's nothing that supports this statement.

Trump's solution boils to a single move: tariffs. That will jack inflation by more than 6%, and more, and will not translate into a concrete long term plan, to build manufacturing in the US.

Back in the 1980s, the US auto industry tried to use tariffs to stop Japan from dominating the car market. They also used fake patriotism to blackmail Americans into buying American.

It turns out that the solution was for US car makers to start maing good and more reliable cars, because people were willing to spend on reliable cars.

China does have 80% of the worldwide solar panels market, but not the US. You cal start by understanding what that means. Vance lied when he said 80% of the US market.

How do we change that? simple: by putting more emphasis on renewable energy in the US, and that includes doubling down on our investment in solar panels.

Would you like to take a guess who fought US spending in manufacturing in that space? I will give you three letters: GOP.

So when Vance trued to pull that 80% lies, immediately followed by statiing that we need to drill more for oil (even though lack of drilling is not our prolem), shows that he has no clue what he's talking about.
