I feel pretty sure Biden will be the Dems nominee. I will gladly vote for Biden. President Biden has many important successes in his time as President. To name a few:
-Taken urgently needed action on campaign finance reform with the DISCLOSE Act.
-Bipartisan infrastructure law, rebuilding the nation's infrastructure.
-Record low unemployment.
-Renewable energy is now the no. 2 source of energy in the U.S. and climbing.
-Protected 13 million acres of Alaskan land from oil-gas drilling.
-Taken every step he can to enact sane gun control laws.
Biden isn't perfect, but he has accomplished many important policy objectives. I will be glad to vote for him in 2024.

@IM5688 Maybe Trump would have accomplished more if he wasn't committing crimes and wasn't solely focused on himself.

@badminton you must read the NY Times...exaggerations and false news...which is everything you said

@windinhishair You mean crimes like the documents thing which Biden got a pass on? Or paying money to Stormy Weather, which is no political crime. You speak of Trump's crimes like they were murder when most of our beloved politicians are guilty of crimes. They were just never found out.

@IM5688 Biden didn't get a pass. Remember the Special Counsel, a Republican, that found nothing that Biden could be indicted for? There is no doubt that he would have recommended prosecution if there was.
Trump's handling of documents was abysmal, criminal by definition, and compromised national security. He hid documents, moved them, and obstructed justice when the government demanded he return their documents. He should face a long prison term for that alone. Anyone else would. And then there is his election interference in Georgia, and in DC that he will likely be convicted on as well. No president in US history has been more of a criminal than Trump. Not Nixon, not Harding. No one.

@windinhishair Biden did get a pass. They were going to bring him to trial but didn't want to put a failing memory Biden on the stand. And he is also guilty of a documents crime as he had documents he had no right to have as VP stored in unsecure places like his garage for years after his Vice presidency ended.

@IM5688 Biden would have been charged if the Special Counsel found any grounds to do so. Biden gave back all documents when they were discovered, and cooperated completely. Trump stole documents on purpose, retained them for years after they were demanded by the National Archives (who owns them), and cannot account for documents that remain missing. He obstructed an official investigation. Anyone else who did what he did, including Biden, would have been tried and would be in prison right now, serving a long sentence. Hopefully justice will eventually be served and he does his time. He committed the crime.

@windinhishair "Biden gave back all documents when they were discovered.."
But he knew they should have been returned as soon as he left office, but he didn't.
If they weren't "discovered," he'd still have them.

@IM5688 Biden didn't realize he had the documents. If he had, he would have returned them. If the Special Counsel had evidence Biden kept them deliberately, he would have been charged. There was no evidence of that, and he was not charged by the hyperpartisan Special Counsel.

@windinhishair Ignorance of the law is no excuse. Besides, Biden had them in 3 different unsecured locations. The documents Trump had were in a secured location as being a former president is still entitled to secret Service protection of anywhere he is.
Again, the reason Biden was not charged is because they felt he was too forgetful to testify even though they think he is okay to run the country.

@IM5688 As I said, the SC determined that Biden could not be charged based on the merits of the case. It had nothing to do with the SC's partisan editorializing. They didn't need Biden to testify against himself. Do you really believe that?
The situations with Biden and Trump are not comparable in any way. And the documents at Mar-a-Lago (and other locations) were not secured. Trump even showed them to people without security clearance, boasting about their contents.

@IM5688 They claim BinBiden is too incompetent to stand trial for the documents, YET is functional enough to remain POTUS 🙄
