He knew that he was going to lose the 2020 election and along with 18 (indicted) co-conspirators planned a coup and carried it out on J6. "The Big Lie" He still says that the election was rigged and stolen from him. I think that he was actually surprised that it didn't work. "everything I touched turned to gold."
Anyone who criticizes him, along with the Judges and prosecutors, he verbally assaults in public or from his Truth Social.
He did however accomplish part of what he wanted, the Republican party is now the extremist MAGA party.

@softspokenman actually no, he destroyed everything in his path. He went bankrupt at least 3 times, got nailed out several by his father. He lost tens of thousands, now millions in law suits. Still, his blind followers think he was a successful businessman.

@bijouxbroussard No they don't lie... but sometimes they withhold the truth so it isn't really a 'truth'.... we are seeing that a lot here in Canada = especially when it comes to policing actions: You'd think the police are all assaulting criminals, yet, when you DO hear the whole story it comes to light that the person arrested was truly the cause of their own misery.

@NativePortlander1970 And I've replied to your complaint: I'm your neighbor and the person who leads your country HAS an impact on me. Just look at what he did the last time he was President: He breached the very USMEXCAN agreement that he negotiated by placing an imbargo on Canadian aluminum exports to the USA; then he asked us to hold a Chinese citizen in custody until a extradition warrant could be arranged.... 3 yers later no warrant, the citizen goes free and Canada's relationship with China was soured.... Now. GF Yourself! GET someone who will be a real World Leader!
