What will Democrats do if they can't keep Trump from running in November?

They are doing unprecedented, underhanded things, to keep him out of the white house.

Will they do this to ALL Republican presidential candidates in the future? Will Republicans
follow suit and do it to Democrats?

I believe we are on a slippery slope.

@DogMan says
There was NO victim, the banks did not give him special terms or interest rates.
WRONG!! lemme quote from the judge's decision:

p. 9:
In deciding to approve the credit facility, Haigh relied on Donald Trump’s 2011 SFC and assumed that the representations of value of the assets and liabilities were “broadly accurate.” TT 1009-1010; PX 330. The Deutsche Bank Credit Report’s “Financial Analysis” is based on numbers provided by the “family office” (here, the Trump Organization) and contains the same numbers represented in the SFC. PX 293; TT 1010-1013.

And p. 68:
The evidence adduced at trial makes clear that Deutsche Bank relied on the SFCs for the information to underwrite, approve, and maintain the credit facilities on Doral, Trump Chicago, and the Old Post Office. PX 293, PX 3041 at ¶¶ 452-54, 456-466, 476.

p. 75:
Defendants have argued vociferously throughout the trial that there can be no fraud as, they assert, that none of the banks or insurance companies relied on any of the alleged misrepresentations. The proponents of this theory posit that lenders demand complex statements of financial condition but then ignore them.

Lemme repeat that last item: The proponents of this theory posit that lenders demand complex statements of financial condition but then ignore them. As if banks didn't care about the financial condition of their borrowers, RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT

@ElwoodBlues Banks do not use words from a property owner. Why don't you try it
sometime. Do you own a house? They DID NOT give him any special considerations
based on his bloviating.
@DogMan Banks use statements of financial condition prepared by certified public accountants.

Among the documents Trump falsified were SFCs (Statements of Financial Condition). He did that partly by feeding false info to and concealing liabilities from his accounting firm, Mazars. That's why Mazars dumped Trump back in Feb 2022.

@ElwoodBlues Lets see what happens during the appeal. I will apologize if he loses,
will you, if he wins?
@DogMan Sure. BTW,

"The law under which Ms. James sued, known by its shorthand 63(12), requires the plaintiff to show a defendant’s conduct was deceptive. If that standard is met, a judge can impose severe punishment, including forfeiting the money obtained through fraud. Ms. James has also used this law against the oil company ExxonMobil, the tobacco brand Juul and the pharma executive Martin Shkreli."

How many hats do you wear? So, now you are an expert in forensic accounting? Mazars is an international firm handling tax matters for high profile individuals and organizations with a need for protection against the IRS and the Treasury Department. Letitia James, with the full faith and backing of the US Justice Department is the attack dog after Donald Trump. Mazars' motive for dumping Trump is understandable. And it's not for the reason you think. The video below may give you a clue if you are more crooked than a cat.

@sree251 Nice evidence-free fairytale!

“... based upon the totality of the circumstances, we believe our advice to you to no longer rely upon those financial statements is appropriate.”

You want evidence? You want clear tracks that you can follow all the way to the Kingdom of Heaven? You are a failure as an American, the kind who will never make it to field officer in the CIA.
@sree251
You want evidence?
You have accused a group of people of weaponizing the US system of justice to illegally prosecute Trump. In short, you have accused them of committing a crime on US soil.

Here in the US, we require evidence to substantiate accusations. You know, like the ten weeks of testimony and the 41 witnesses in this recent falsifying financial documents trial. Evidence. And you don't have it, you just have wild accusations.

Same thing with the "stolen election" claims - 61 court cases and 60 failed. Why? Trump had no evidence; just wild accusations. And that became clearer after the "cyber ninjas" recount and the Georgia recount, and the retractions of accusations by Meadows, Powell, Chesebro, etc.

No evidence, just wild accusations. SAD!
