Its a different world. Politics. . .
Im gonna try not to be ageist but please consider the following:
Worldview the current cohort of politicians currently in power (especially federal legislative elected office) are from a world so fundamentally more single-minded and conflict oriented (exclusive sole perspective) compared to the modern all inclusive (perhaps too-inclusive?) perspective that the old-style simply isnt compatible with the new reality of diversity inclusion and acceptance.
The point is all citizens are a part of the problem and its solution. What used to be us (the majority) and them(the few) needs to, should, and largely has become our problem and how can we/us solve it for them and ours.
Therefore an old world perspective. I interpret as conquer them to create/force them
& us to be we. Has and needs to become We and them as us to force all of it to work/ be fixed.
An old perspective toward violent exclusion from perceived superiority would do best to become the modern approach of recognize each others potential contribution to unite us in unity toward everyones improvement.
Im not religious but isnt that what all of 'them' are saying?
1 citizen 1 humanity 1 country!
Yet war? Thats unacceptable but sounds about right. . .
Thus given the internet and free exchange. Certainly peace and cooperation is more beneficial and productive then ever before.
Put down the guns and build roads/cars and schools, churches/temples/monuments and farms/cafeteria/greenhouses
1 country 1 humanity 1 earth.
