read at the Biden inauguration?
Florida has banned it in elementary schools.

Looked it up as it was unknown to me. Astonished that any human being looked upon as being a future Leader, even a President, should seek to ban such sentiments from being expressed in elementary schools.

@SW-User He isn't bothered about it. In fact, I guarantee De Santis hasn't even read it.

One parent (who attributed it to Oprah) claimed that the poem contained “hate messages.” That is enough for De Santis, particularly as Gorman is Black.
