I was in grade school, and we were dismissed early to go home. I remember watching the news for the next few days and seeing Jack Ruby kill Lee Harvey Oswald as he was being transferred. The memory is so vivid that I remember which classroom I was in and which seat I was sitting in.

@windinhishair I, too, remember many things from that day. I was in fourth grade. I remember what I was wearing, the weather, when the principal came into our classroom to give us the sad news, and so much more, including Jack Ruby killing Lee Harvey Oswald, and watching the funeral of JFK on TV, with my sister and our parents, on Monday November 25.
