I wasn't even alive, but I've read plenty about it. Its just crazy that it happened, now 25 years ago.

It was an event that changed so much in the US
It was surreal. Even here in the UK we were glued to the news while at work. That's when you could actually get online because the whole country was trying to follow the news and so it took ages to connect to any mainstream media sites. We watched it unfold as it just got worse and worse.

The crazy part is how many people it's not crazy to- how large a proportion of the general population looks at the actions of a government and says "I disapprove of those actions; therefore, I will kill thousands of innocent people living under the rule of that government.".

I was on my way to work hearing about it on the radio I was listening to Howard Stern. I did not know what was going on then my boss had it on the tv at work. And at that point it was just the one tower yet.
