Remembering all those brave souls on September 11

I had a dream last night I was there, watching the huge smoke clouds coming at us on the ground, trying to run to get away. It was pure terror even in my dream. 😔

What they endured that day is astronomical. 😟🩷
Cannot believe it's been 25 years.

I was at work in DC that day. We evacuated outside. I saw the smoke from the Pentagon on the horizon. I walked a few miles on abandoned roads and across a bridge to see it. A fighter jet circled overhead. I got to the police line, and saw a raging fire on one side of the building. It smelled like burning plastic.

Horrible day.

@JoyfulSilence Just awful...yes. 😟 I just heard on social media today three different calls they've kept, from people on the plane about to hit the towers. It was heartbreaking hearing those calls, saying that they were flying too low, and " I love you, I wish I could see you again. " It was just is so sad😞
