Yes,a lot of police and fire fighter from Long Island went inn to lend a hand..a friend was walking toward the second tower(?) when he saw the crowd running..he hopped a subway and was told there had been a missile attack..unable to work for months

I watched a video of that day. I also watched the first episode of The New Price is Right. It's good to know a bit of history.
