Consider the fact that they ran out of body bags and the slow pace of the search for corpses. Look at history and you will see how the government has responded to foreign disasters much more quickly and more in depth.
Yet, here we are with a major disaster in our own country and the powers that be are dragging their feet in addressing the situation.
