Maui fires, arson?

It's highly likely that the Maui fires were started by arsonists. The landscape and the weather was perfect for such an incident. Remember, we are in a global war and, like the Canadian and Greek fires, the Maui fire would show that no area is exempt from such an attack. The beauty of it is that such attacks can be staged to appear perfectly natural in origin and therefore brings no retribution from the attacked victims. Such attacks are far cheaper than brute military force. In all probability we can expect an increase in such incidents.

Hopefully we will eventually find out what ignited the fire(s).

Yes, conditions were ripe for horrific wildfires....but what ignited it? I have not seen any reports of any downed power lines, no reports of a failed camp fire extinguished....and no, it was not an act of some god.

@SandWitch I have no idea.
@JSul3 if we told you, would you know, then?
1. Global warming recently reduced the amount of rain all the Hawaiian islands get.
2. Agriculture was abruptly discontinued, and hot dry conditions with flammable brush resulted.
3. Cars definitely heat and dry the place as do roads.
4. Power lines blew down on all the islands, fires resulted. On Oahu the valley of Manoa didn't burn.
On Maui, the city of Lahaina did burn.

Still don't know?

@Roundandroundwego I have been watching the reports daily. There has not been a single report stating downed power lines were the cause of the fires in Lahaina.
@JSul3 here's a link. I saw the photos of the lines and in another area that night five power lines went down and one ignited a car and burned for hours. What you don't know can include that.
