Maui fires, arson?

It's highly likely that the Maui fires were started by arsonists. The landscape and the weather was perfect for such an incident. Remember, we are in a global war and, like the Canadian and Greek fires, the Maui fire would show that no area is exempt from such an attack. The beauty of it is that such attacks can be staged to appear perfectly natural in origin and therefore brings no retribution from the attacked victims. Such attacks are far cheaper than brute military force. In all probability we can expect an increase in such incidents.

If you were going to commit such a crime, wouldn't you be smart enough to wait until the conditions were right to cover your tracks?

Both boats are owned by a local electrician who turned the videos over to police.

Hawaii Island police investigate arson as cause of the Kaʻū wildfire
"Following news from Hawaii County of the Hawaii Fire Department neutralizing the brushfires in Kaʻū in Naalehu and Pahala, Hawaii Island police announced the launch of an arson investigation into the Kaʻū brushfire that’s been determined to have started under suspicious circumstances, according to police.

On the afternoon of Aug. 9, the Hawaii Fire Department received a report of several brushfires on Mill Camp Road in Pahala. They found two separate fires upon arrival, one on either side of Mill Camp Road. They were burning in the same area, but how the fires started appeared to be different, according to a news release.

Detectives determined that an unattended cooking fire started one of the fires.

The second fire may have been intentionally set as investigators found an incendiary device on the roadway where they believe the fire started."

@Diotrephes But those weren't the fires in Maui. One of those looks like an insurance thing, one was an unattended fire and the other, I would imagine, was a pissed off local sending a message to a film crew.
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@Ynotisay Sure, that's one way of looking at it but the other way is that those fires were just training runs for something like the Maui fire. Were the cops able to apprehend any of the suspects in those fires? If not there there's the likelihood that one or more of those perps could be responsible for the Maui fire. And, if the perp, or perps, get away with it, you can expect similar things to happen in the future.
@Diotrephes What About Martians? Martians COULD be responsbile for the fire.

Hey, let's look at these articles about arson in Guam and Samoa, no, no, no, over here, look this way, forget I was ever talking about Maui, but you still owe me $2 trillion in order for me to prove my own assertion that I want the rest of you to believe ...

F*cking hell ... don't you have a bingo league you could join or something?

@Diotrephes I don't know if it works like that. Purposeful arson is most always around property. As one who lives in a forest with real wildfire risk, arsonists aren't the concern. Unaware/Disrespectful/Careless idiots and lightning is where it's at.
