Can’t believe it’s been 20 years…..9/11/2001

Yesterday was the 20th anniversary since that tragic, heartbreaking day for America. I was only 11 going on 12 when this happened. Our bus driver wanted us to be quiet so she can hear the on the radio about the World Trade Center. I think her teacher showed us on the TV. I don’t remember but when we first saw it we were in shock. So horrible and terrifying. I’m still trumatized from it to this day. Sending prayers to those who lost their family and friends on that horrible day. 🙏🏽🙏🏽💔💖😭😢🇺🇸 🇺🇸

I was 41 and had the day off. I watched tv at home on the West Coast; several of those planes were scheduled to return to California. One of my colleagues was scheduled to fly on 93 from Boston, where he’d been visiting his mother. She didn’t want him to leave, she had a “feeling” so he postponed his flight until later.
