Why don’t I vote in US elections…

Requirements are dictated by policy makers and your policy makers are elected into office by unfortunately ignorant partisan Americans. It’s a universal truth that all shit rolls downhill.
Ignorance wins the election, policy makers make ignorant decisions, those ignorant decisions become stupid requirements that aren’t worth human lives. But then that’s what we have to execute on. And that happens all the time. All The F@cking TIME!!!

But what do I even know…? This is just the opinion of one of 8.025+ billion persons on this planet 🌎 (nothing special, nothing remarkable, not even remotely unique…)

@NativePortlander1970 Again you’re assuming that you have a voice that exists in any form and does anything other than make you feel like you’re being included.
If you want an analogy then maybe look at it this way. You have an allegiance to a certain group and you have an opposition to another group much like someone at a sporting event between two different teams and you’re assuming that because I don’t share your allegiance or have my own allegiance to the opposition then I don’t have anything to do with that game between the two teams and I’m trying to explain to you that not only do I not care about either team I don’t care about what happens in the game because it doesn’t affect the agenda of the the league those teams are in. So you have a very limited scope and a very one dimensional form of logic when it comes to this topic.
if you believe that there is only one way to be an American and a patriotic one at that I can’t really help you. You’re a true believer and your mind is closed off to any other possibility by your own self fulfilling prophecy. I have no problem with your ignorance or your decision to play the game but I also don’t think “you can see the forest for the trees”. So you don’t see it’s basically that simple.

I spend more energy time and bandwidth on things that you will never let yourself comprehend because of your own limitations and vulnerability.
It’s just that simple. You’re just that simple. But I’m sure that if you were challenged in any way in any form you’d fold like a lawn chair and walk on your hands to impress your new overlords.
