@fun4us2b An excellent summary is street language. But its too late for this to be managed. America is having to borrow to meet the interest payments on what it already borrowed. Place borrowing more just to get to the next budget.. And interest rates will rise further. Or inflation will drain the future value out of the $US. Those are the choices..😷

@MoveAlong Jacko just doesnt like me. Any post I put up attracts his attention and he tries to niggle me with detail or personal insult. For the record, economic "happenings" take a while to come through and he is correct I have been predicting doom and gloom for the US economy for a long time now. Because I can read the numbers. All sorts of political startegies have been pulled to forestall what is happening. But in the end the numbers dont lie. And in this, Trump and his antics have just made it faster, more obvious and worse..But short of a major austerity program for America (good luck with that with half a billion guns in the hands of a P*SSed off populace) and a massive World Bank rescue package, nothing is going to save America. And I just cant see even Trump going cap in hand and calling that a win. Then telling Americans they have to put up with high taxes, wage cuts and a big lowering of living standards.. Can you?😷
