Neurodiversity by the way is the belief some people with learning disabilities have that some disabilities are part of who a person is and when people say they should be cured it means they are saying who they are is bad so Neurodiversity is the belief in acceptance for those with learning disabilities and to accept them as they are! 😇😇😇 One criticism is that those who strongly advocate for Neurodiversity have mild autism not severe autism like my precious son has but I truly believe in my heart the most loving thing you can say to an autistic person is "I wouldn't change you for the world" and that is why I support Neurodiversity! 😘😘😘 [media=https://youtu.be/H6xl_yJKWVU?si=oxoHgWYer-eaPGqo]

Diversity is not synonymous with division. Only by acknowledging, respecting and accommodating the whole nation (literal translation = "the people") can we find the necessary harmony on which to build and grow.
All too often unity is equated with homogeneity or is the outcome of the majority imposing its will on the rest of society. Unity that defines itself by excluding others or restricting freedom is of little practical use.
@DogMan People can unite around shared beliefs in inclusivity, human dignity, and realising everyone's potential. Deliberately ignoring or marginalising a large section of the population is not conducive to social harmony or stability.
@SunshineGirl How does Unity disparage or ignore a large section of the population? I would say that splitting people up ( Diversifying) does that. It makes people believe they are more special than those that are not in their little group.

They should really be going together. Diversity celebrates differences while unity represents cohesion. You can accept peoples differences in race, religion, culture, and such. Untiy means joined together, collaboration balance.
@MommyLucy Lots of things going on here. First of all, whether a democrat or republican administration is in office, an individual can lack the knowledge or compassion to deal with people who are disabled. We're dealing with people and not everyone is the same. I don't believe that any administration would intentionally want to harm anyone, especially a disabled person. Unfortunately, some individuals are just not as competent as others in performing their duties.
As for the fear of visiting a red state, but feeling better because you're going to a blue city is quite honestly ridiculous. To be honest, I keep my politics to myself when out in public. It's doesn't matter if I'm in the redest state or the bluest city.
I am a conservative and God forbid I even mention that in Chicago. But, I get into the city often, enjoy the people I meet and time spent immensly. I even own a business in the heart of the city.
Try not to buy into the divisiveness. The original post was all about unity or division. This is EXACTLY what the was referring to. Be an American and enoy your fellow Americans. They're wonderful people no matter who they voted for. Respect the views of others and everything will be just dandy.

As an adult with mild autism I strongly believe in Neurodiversity because my autism is part of who I am so I would NEVER want a cure because I believe if my autiam was gone then I wouldn't be me anymore so I advocate for autism acceptance and that is why I rather diversity but honestly I don't understand in what context this lovely post meant! 😘😘😘
@SunshineGirl is that what you think ? Maybe you are referring to individuals. I am referring to governing bodies (republicans , socialists , democrats etc..). Their only job is retaining power . That means they have to provide JUST enough to the people to stay in power. No more. And developed countries have done an excellent job of that.
