@carpediem Do you have any idea how huge the forests in Canada are? Do you know how few people live in those forests? There isn't enough money in all of Canada to do what you are suggesting.

@hippyjoe1955 That’s right. Give up. Do nothing. How very Canadian. Maybe start by selective logging. Logging roads themselves would help to provide fire breaks.

@carpediem Do you realize how small an actual forest fire is? I have flown over them and they are actually quite small. They put out a lot of smoke but that is simply the way nature works. Forest fires are actually beneficial. The forest regrows and animals have better foraging options.
