The Nordic Counties are doing the same thing.

It's rooted in evil and needs to be done with. I wish the US would do this.

Fighting a forest fire with a water pistol. Timid rules will have no effect on a cult of pure evil and violence. What's needed is another Crusade, and done right this time. Those demons must be wiped from the earth.

Instead of trying to regulate an individual’s actions or screw with religious customs, maybe they should fix their ridiculous immigration policies. 🤷🏻‍♂

@carpediem yes, that it part of the changes they are implementing.

Nordic states have already begun cracking down on immigration.

They are finally waking up to what Islam is really doing.
@carpediem
I agree with you, although my comment is not zeroing in on one religion or country of origin.

Immigration in itself is a win-win for the country and the individual. But this can only if the policies are in place to make sure the immigrant assimilates into the existing culture, instead of building clusters of a "new culture" of their own. We are talking here about language, values, community interaction, etc.

I cannot blame Europe for waking up and making the changes. I've travelled frequently to different countries in Europe to understand how the unwelcome changes are taking place, slowly, under our noses, until it's too late to correct them.

Canada should be looking into a clean-up drive, not just of people - but of policies for letting them come into the country and rules for letting them stay.

@CookieCrumbs I agree. But rules need to be followed to be effective. That is what seems to be missing in most first world countries

"Finally cracking down"? The article describes a range of actions going back to 2011.

Legislation against radicalism is not specifically aimed at Islam. Plenty of extreme right wing organisations have also been proscribed for using terrorism to promote their objectives.

Attempts to ban headcoverings have been sporadic, shortlived and generally very unpopular as they interfere with personal liberties.

It comes years to late
