DogMan Funny thing, you somehow blaming the entire "left" for this🤣😂 Are you unaware that the First Amendment applies to government speech and not to private institutions?? You love it when a private baker can refuse a gay wedding cake, but you can't stomach the rejection of a fascist hate monger??
DePaul is a private Catholic university founded by and operated by the Vincentian order of Priests and Brothers. They established the university in 1898 and continues to sponsor it, ensuring its core identity is rooted in St. Vincent de Paul's principles of social justice, service to the poor, and community empowerment, influencing everything from its mission statement to student activities like Vincentian Service and Formation.
As a private institution, DePaul is free to make its own decisions about who addresses students. Bring your complaints to these Priests and Brothers; not to me!!
Latin motto:
Viam sapientiae monstrabo tibi, which translates to "I will show you the way of wisdom" Proverbs 4:11.
Oh, goodness, look at this! Why do you suppose international students are suddenly avoiding universities like DePaul??
DePaul University faced significant enrollment challenges in Fall 2025, particularly a sharp decline in international graduate students, leading to budget impacts and staff layoffs...
International Decline: A major drop in new international graduate students (nearly 62%) and overall international students (755 fewer) was reported, attributed to visa issues and declining interest in U.S. study.
