@CougarLisa Correct, The left seems to think Red state governors run Blue cities. They probably should since blue
city mayors are basically worthless.

@DogMan populated cities with “blue policies” which are known to work in densely populated areas still work even in red states. Therefore “red states” would be wise to adopt similar policies. Instead they blame the other and continue with strategies that simply don’t work in the modern era. Old politicians old strategies but it’s a new world with wildly different concerns.
Maybe we need forced retirement age in politics. Could it be that simple?

other cesspool cities? How about Law and order, & responsibility. How about forcing parents to take responsibility
for their kids? How about instilling discipline in our kids? Nothing good happens when you let the inmates run the

Law and order there are more shootings in red states and cities per capita. I’d like to see less gun violence. The inmates running the asylum are in Washington DC criminals escaping justice politicians running so as to avoid consequences. I want to reduce gun violence and protect children “gun control” does that.

@jehova YES!! It starts with children and parenting. Gang bangers are technically children until they turn 18.

no responsibility, no commitment, and no loving upbringing.

@DogMan parenting is likely the largest factor . Bad adults also come from places of poverty hunger and yes often lack of parenting. I’m unconvinced(skeptical). that older children but still school age are the most to blame for school shootingsthey are the most impressionable. Regardless lack of gun regulation in “red states” is a larger factor.Therefore one could argue that “good children” can become corrupted to be “suddenly bad”
To be fair it usually takes time for the switch to occur. The factors you mentioned are often what can interrupt that escalation.
