Did Democrats hate everything Trump said last night?

They do not even support stopping Social Security checks to dead people.

And they would not give any kudos to that little boy who beat brain cancer.

Are Democrats forced to take the opposite stance on every word Trump utters?

It seems that the right should not care a wit about finding common ground with
the left, since the left will not even consider common ground. They will only
consider the opposite of what Trump says, no matter what.

The problem is - THERE ARE NO SOCIAl SECURITY CHECKS GOING TO DEAD PEOPLE!

Once you can grasp that, then you will understand.
DogMan · 61-69, M
@trollslayer Well the checks are going to someone. Most likely scammers.
Do you think we should keep sending the checks?

trollslayer · 46-50, M
@DogMan no, they arent. That is a lie you believe.
DogMan · 61-69, M
@trollslayer Why does the SS administration say it is true? They found some of them
in 2023 under Biden. Is it because Trump said it, that you think it's a lie?
Carla · 61-69, F
@trollslayer i feel certain there are scammers. As in all programs that deal with dollars. Snap, medicaid even social security.
Social security would be difficult though as death certificates are provided to the govt upon passing. Still...some, im sure. But even if the 33 million mr dogman is throwing around is true, then it was detected. And...33 million is a tiny fraction of what is being claimed. And doge didn't even find it.

Speaking of scamming...let's not forget that trump scammed his own charitable foundation to glorify himself. Ie...some hideous portrait , hung in his clubhouse, paid for by people thinking they were helping who? Cancer patients. Kids.

@DogMan did you even read what you posted below??
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
@trollslayer Similar to there are no dead peole voting and no stolen election.
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@Carla exactly. With a population this large there is bound to be errors and scammers. And they admit they caught a few million. Not sure what that means, that scammers were getting that money, or that means thy cancelled payments when the checks were retuned to sender.

Ss database modernization has been a topic for DECADES. But you are talking billions for upgrades to potentially save a few million.
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@JimboSaturn well, you can’t say zero. But the number you can count on two hands, much smaller than a margin of victory.
@trollslayer The problem is it shows how inaccurate records are and the challenge that presents to auditing the systems and data. That makes them more prone / susceptible to fraud and waste. Soc security fraud is real .. my uncle made a career investigating it. I get some of the DOGE claims are not vetted well .. but its far from all incorrect. Why are you against poor record keeping, fraud and waste being culled out and ended? What do we gain by letting this kind of stuff continue?
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@BrandNewMan who is saying I (or democrats) are against that?
@trollslayer All you do is cast doubt on it, mock it. Answer the question .. to what benefit?
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@BrandNewMan there is no benefit. That’s why there are already protocols to root this stuff out. As far as modernization of the databases, I recall that was a push by the Obama administration that was 86ed by the GOP.

What happened to these obama era efforts?
