They have been on a binge of building solar farms here in the snowy midwest for a while now. Quite a nice chunk of prime farmland is gone and it will be interesting to see what ends up in the ground water.

@Arnoldjrmmer Sounds like a waste of fertile farmland. At least these solar farms were in the desert wasteland. It is also one of the sunniest places on earth. I imagine part of the problem is all the regulations and fees that California charges, they make it too expensive to run.
