Are Bidens Preemptive pardons legal?

I'm not an attorney, but how can you pardon someone, that has not had charges filed against them?

Either way if those pardoned are for whatever reasons, investigated they may be in between a rock and a hard place.

You can't. The constitution is clear on this. As usual, we await the SCOTUS to review and strike them down as unconstitutional. Again wasting the court's time on frivolity.
@MasterLee They can...

Good news for trump then. He can pardon himself, all his family, everyone in his administration. "Just in case" you know.

That way any president can be a dictator. Great news.

So no one can hold anyone in government accountable, ever.

So the government can roll over your rights with no recourse.

Hey we no longer have a republic then. All hail emperor trump.

Are you people insane or just brainwashed beyond hope?
@MasterLee All hail any future dictator, doesnt matter the party.

If Trump would've done it, he wouldve the first four years where libs were coming for him if he breathed wrong. He didn't.

Joetatoe set precidence, this is all on him.

Gotta wonder though, if someone's not guilty or has nothing to hide, then why a pardon?

What'd Joe say several times? "I will not pardon Hunter. I will respect the judges decision". So he pardons everything going back 10 yrs, even if Hunter wasnt being investigated. Yeah, Trump hasn't.

Interesting how that works.

Again....ford preemptively pardoned nixon.
DogMan · 61-69, M
@Carla The FBI would have the evidence, and they work with the DNC. But that is going to change.
Carla · 61-69, F
@DogMan oh..okay. the fbi did it. Did they hide 2020 election fraud proof as well?

At costco, you can get a twin pack of tin foil at a reasonable price. That is going to change soon. Hurry down...
DogMan · 61-69, M
@Carla Shhhh, don't tell anyone. 😉
Lilnonames · F
That's so the charges coming up don't get filed
DogMan · 61-69, M
@NativePortlander1970 Thank you. I see that the law says " A president CAN issue a pardon anytime, AFTER a crime
has been committed. That is very telling.
@DogMan You're so very welcome. Even though the Constitution says that Congress and SCOTUS cannot reverse a pre emptive pardon, I wonder if a new POTUS can with an EO 🤔
