Are we then deceased as well?

@thewindupbirdchronicles 🥺 the queen will live on forever in our hearts. She looked so pretty when she was young.
@Lostpoet Aww, she did. I don't believe in the royal family, really. They are figureheads here; nothing is decided by them. We're as independent as they come. My intuition says, I preferred her over Charles.

@thewindupbirdchronicles I just thought because so much of your providences are named after Royalty.
@Lostpoet May I be honest? 60% of Canada wants to become a republic. Now, they also idolize the US, that scares me (no offence), and I'd take the meaningless monarchy over the problems I see south of the border.

@thewindupbirdchronicles I ge it you guys deserve to be independent, but the Queen owns a lot of the North American continent. I live right next to Kennecott mining 🏔️⛏️ and the queen owns that. It's one of the biggest exporters of gold and rare earth metals in the US.
@Lostpoet Umm fact checking has a purpose -

It's an independent company. Usually the problems we have in Canada is trade agreements with the US about mining and rare earth materials. Not the crown owning, though there is disputes, but it's pretty sovereign and corporate even here...

@thewindupbirdchronicles I'm almost a hundred percent sure that the Royal family owns Kennecott.
@Lostpoet All I see is owned by Rio Tinto, an Anglo-Australian company, founded in 1873, purchased a mining complex from the Spanish government. Even if the royal family has role in here, it's so diminished upon the power the US holds, you are worrying over concerns non existent, especially when I can say, the role of the monarchy here is almost non-existent... actually emphasizes why I like it the way it is, as I get a more honest account of the actualities.
