Why Has America Been So Anti-Communist?

Russia, China, Vietnam - it seems like so many foreign conflicts of the past have been to stop communism, but could it also have been to maintain foreign influence? What threat does communism pose to the US?

@SW-User Tell me more - I'm open to hearing anyone. What would communism-done-right look like? And why communism over other "-ism"s?
SW-User
@InvictusIndigo well it's simple but not really...because if it's done right everyone would pitch in and help in some way..but because it only takes one greedy bastard to screw it all up it will never work ...ever ...too many corrupt and greedy people in this world to make it work as intended....never going to happen

@SW-User There is no right way to do it.

@SW-User there is but it's never going to happen

@SW-User The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. It doesn't work, its a failed, corrupt system.

@SW-User this is true. And there has NEVER been a communist country EVER.
Every thing ever referred to as communist, was actually socialist.
@InvictusIndigo Capitalism has to be regulated or it doesn’t work either.
