Now that two 3rd world countries have beaten the US in a war despite the US having the largest budget, should everyone else feel more confident?

Because shiny helicopters and US marines are no match for rice farmers and opium farmers?

What did we learn?

Don't fuck with farmers

That's completely false. The US is choosing to get out of that hell hole. We never should have gone in to begin with. It's our current idiot president that makes this into a disaster.

Your statement is foolish. I'm being kind.

@BoredDarkLord Ahhh... troll. Easily remedied
@carpediem A troll for not swallowing the story? Nice story bro

The US was not beaten in a war. But it did fail to win peace. There is a difference that warmongers and conservatives don't seem to understand.
@Northwest A war were the objective isn’t achieved and you loose hundreds of men and billions of dollars is a lost war.

Actually, the Taliban almost shut down opium production in Afghanistan. Like alcohol, drugs are a major no-no.

The silverback in particular are particularly nasty and territorial.

Going there was the loss. Leaving there was the win.
@SnowBlack Yay hundreds of soldiers died and billions of dollars lost for a war were nothing was gained? No.
SnowBlack · 18-21, F
@BoredDarkLord It was stupid to go and stupider to hope to gain.

{@boreddarklord] if you are aware of your history it is not only the american troops who fell in the mire of afghanistan . the might of the soviet union tried to invade afghanistan in the early eighties and ended up like the americans with a bloody nose and ended up withdrawing
