How close do you think we are to WWIII?

Billionaires want to rule over the earth, not over its radioactive remains.

It's all scaremongering, and anyone who actually believes nukes will fly may as well come out and say they believe the pyramids are inhabited by aliens, as both things have approximately the same probability (i.e. virtually zero)

@Elessar There's no aliens living in the pyramids. They all left soon as the pyramids were finished.

@Nitedoc Exactly lol, and there's no billionaire/oligarch/dictator whatever that actually wants nuclear war.

If Putin was any serious with his threats he would be indivisible part of the sidewalk in front of the Kremlin palace as we speak.

@Elessar You're right, they don't. They do expect to survive WWIII however. The super are already building large underground bunkers/fallout shelters in New Zealand. That area is thought to be one of the least affected places in the event of a global war. I think some people will survive in strongholds in places all over the world. Some countries like Sweden have been preparing and fortifying for this since the Cold War of the 60's. We don't really know what the long term effects of radioactive fallout will be. Some people claim the radiation will last 1,500+ years. I'm not so sure. It didn't last 1,500 years in Hiroshima or Nagasaki, or Chernobyl for that matter. That being said, I hope and pray this type of senseless mass destruction never happens.

@Elessar I don't expect most of those people in the bunkers would survive long enough to see the light of day again. But I think some will, and some will survive in different places around the world. Some people survived the last ice-age with little to no resources. Humans can be resilient creatures.

@Nitedoc I don't doubt humanity would survive, I doubt the billionaires would. In a nuclear war they lose essentially the only thing that separate them from me and you.
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
@Elessar I'm not sure who will survive but overall there will be some who do.
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Nitedoc Yeah and with all probability it won't be those who dictate the line of government right now. Which is why my initial point is that the billionaires/oligarchs will never allow an actual nuclear war to start.

@Elessar I hope you're right.
